Salting, Gritting & Snow Removal Dublin
Salting, Gritting and Snow Removal in Dublin
Grasshopper Services provide trusted snow removal services across Dublin. Snow and ice can cause massive disruption, and with the potential for financial loss and injuries, it is essential that these risks are managed and controlled. Grasshopper Services can help reduce the risk with our road gritting, salting and snow removal services.
We offer a comprehensive Winter Maintenance Package across Dublin, which includes Gritting and Salt Spreading. Along with traditional rock salt, we also use a liquid brine solution, which speeds up the salt’s action, leaving a lasting result. This solution has a reduced environmental impact, helping to protect both staff and nature.
We tailor a Winter Maintenance program for each site individually and utilize our fleet of 4x4s, gritters, tractors, and snowplows—all ready to be deployed at a moment’s notice. We keep track of expenses and environmental impact, but most importantly, we ensure that we deliver the performance we agreed upon.
We work based on Met Éireann and Realweather UK reports, which are sent to us each morning during our period of coverage for your area. Each of our gritters is fitted with GPS trackers that provide a report each night detailing the areas covered, the amount of salt used, and the time of application.
Rates for snow removal callouts include salt/grit, labour, and machinery for a single application per night. Should repeat applications be required due to refreezing or poor weather conditions, an additional cost will apply.
Please note that Grasshopper Services is fully insured.
